These terms apply to businesses using The Code Smith WA, a service operated by The Code Smith.
The service
The Code Smith WA connects your WhatsApp Business account to an AI assistant that replies to your customers, and gives you a dashboard to view conversations and enquiries. The service is currently in early access and is provided "as is".
Your responsibilities
- You must comply with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, WhatsApp Business Terms and Meta's Commerce Policy.
- You must have your customers' permission to message them, and honour opt-out requests.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the business information the assistant uses.
- You pay Meta directly for WhatsApp conversation charges on your own WhatsApp Business account.
AI replies
Automated replies are generated by an AI model and may occasionally be incomplete or wrong. The assistant is limited to topics about your business. You can pause it for any conversation and reply yourself at any time.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend accounts that break these terms or Meta's policies. You can disconnect at any time; we will delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, The Code Smith is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
